Upcoming Absence
I have been a bit MIA lately anyway, but starting now until Monday, I probably won't be blogging or even Internet-ing because I am going to the Big 12 Championship in San Antonio!!!! My alma mater is playing in the biggest game in MU football since I have been alive and I am driving down there with the boy and his parents. Very exciting! Go Tigers! See below - that is Maclin, No. 9, a freshman and my favorite!

Lovin' the LBD
Oh, the Little Black Dress (LBD). It is a fashion staple for many of us, as it should be. It can be sexy. It can be classy. It can be chic. It is always fashionable. If you are in Toronto, they even have the LittleBlackDressShop. Celebrities celebrate the LBD at philanthropic fashion events. I wish I could go to one of those. If I could, I would wear this LBD. So, dive right in for some LBD goodness from celebs + a bit of shopping opportunities for you to buy your very own LBD. I just bought one last week, and I cannot wait to wear it!
Happy Shopping,
gg

I have been MIA.
The Thanksgiving holiday stole me away from my blog and from reading all of yours, but now it's Monday and back to work and back to my computer. I will be catching up with your blogs today and posting on mine as well as shopping some Cyber Monday sales to celebrate the beginning of the shopping season!
xoxo,
gg

Much to say about... nothing.
"How beautiful it is to do nothing and rest afterward."
Spanish proverb
This quote was on a card I received for my birthday in October.
It makes me happy every time I read it. Ah, relaxation... or whatever constitutes as rest to you...

Target *tar-jay* goodies
Today over lunch, I dashed into Target *tar-jay* for a bit of Christmas shopping mixed with a bit of me-shopping. My motivation came from finding a present for my sister as well as this post from Valley Girl about the wrap dress below, and it was only $24.99! This store is amazing. *also available online - click on picture*

Much to say about fashion - LC
"Sometimes I look at what really young girls wear and I can’t believe it- I have underwear that covers more than what some of them have on! I think it’s important that girls know they can be attractive and sexy in a classy way and that guys actually like that more than when they see girls who show a lot of skin. For me, I like clothes and I like to wear them to cover up."
Lauren Conrad, The Hills
Watch it tonight on MTV - I know I will be:).

Celeb Style Candy
Rachel Bilson looks so fashionable in this little unique dress. I definitely would like to find a knock-off.
Cameron Diaz looking jet-setter cute at the airport with Louis Vuitton luggage and a great belted tunic and hat. I LOVE Hayden Panettiere's grey boots, and they are so very fashion-forward with her outfit.
Jessica Alba and Alicia Keys in killer jackets for fall.
A moment for LC and Audrina since The Hills is on tonight! That belted red dress is uber cute.
Beyonce is adorable in those tie-front pants - I wish I had the body to wear them, but I seriously have no hips. Jennifer Hudson certainly has the gorgeous curves to pull off this outfit.
Katherine Heigl is always fabulous! Those boots are just perfect.
