Attention Blogaholics

If you are like me, you can spend a LOT of time reading others' fascinating blogs. But there is a better way to do this. I was introduced to this by one of Valley Girl's readers, and I have been forever grateful as it makes keeping up on your fave blogs much easier.

Not that it makes you be on Blogger any less...

The amazing mechanism is called Google Reader at www.google.com/reader. It allows you to subscribe to as many blogs as you want, and it will show you all the new posts, much like your e-mail inbox. You can unsubscribe to any blog you want if along the way you decide to not read them anymore. PLUS, you even get to read the posts that people delete. They will forever remain on Google Reader. Ah, bliss.

I happened upon this blog as I was trying to decide if I wanted to start a blog, and it was my inspiration! Not only do they have great posts, day in and day out, but they also know how to write it so you feel like they are talking to you. Plus, so many people comment that it is fun to see what others think and click on commenter's blogs to see what they have to offer. The Barneys & Harrods girls have been doing this a while, and they excel at it!

Blog of the Week - Fashion Lolita

My feature blog today is Fashion Lolita. I love the interesting posts about fashion, and along the side, Juliet has put some guilty pleasures in the form of a Model & Look of the Week along with a fashion muse among other fun extras. And her quote at the top of the page is priceless "Balls are to men what purses are to women." Gotta love Sex & the City! Her latest post is about an Italian Vogue spread that to me is very interesting in itself - it plays on the recent Hollywood panty-showing, rehab-going obsession. Thanks, Juliet, for a stylin' blog!

Blog of the Week - View from the Porch

This blog by my friend Sarah is not a fashion blog, but she is stalking a gorgeous pea coat. View from the Porch is just a great place to stop and read some superb writing and fun stories. You will soon realize what I mean. Here is the current quote at the top of her page:
